Toward Solomon’s Mountain By Joesph L. Baird

Toward Solomon's Mountain: The Experience of Disability in Poetry is a 1986 poetry anthology edited by Joseph L. Baird and Deborah S. Workman.

Published by Temple University Press, this 151-page collection focuses on the raw, firsthand experiences of living with physical disabilities through twentieth-century American poetry. Rather than framing disability through outside pity or medical clinicalism, the compiled works capture a broad spectrum of authentic emotional, psychological, and physical realities directly from the perspectives of the writers
